Rhude Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: Tagged for Teenagers, Cut for Broad Shoulders
We ordered two tees and measured them flat. The listing tags this loose cut for teenagers, yet published Rhude tee charts disagree on shoulder width by several centimetres — so the tape measure, not the size tag, picks your size here.

Editor verdict
Combed cotton, a stated 180–250g weight and clean print edges for $8.36 a tee, but the loose cut plus three-way disagreement on sizing makes measuring mandatory. Fabric and print scored higher than the fit guidance, which we left unresolved.
Anyone after a loose, mid-sleeve summer tee with a lettering print who will measure a shirt they already own before picking a size.
Buyers who want a standard true-to-size body or a trim fit, and anyone unwilling to measure and compare before ordering a boxy cut.

What we ordered
We bought two tees from the Rhude multicolor T-shirt collection, SKU 7718845670, through our usual agent and had them sent to the Rotterdam desk for inspection. The listing ran at $8.36 per shirt, marked down from $9.20, and showed as in stock when we ordered. Sizes run S to XXL. The colour field names 42 codes split across black, white and apricot bodies, and only five of those codes are genuinely two-tone prints: RH201 in black-blue, black-yellow and white-green, plus RH203 in apricot-green and apricot-red.
The word "collection" describes the range of prints on one product page, not a bundle. One order is one shirt.
The spec sheet labels this a teen tee
Buried in the Chinese-language style fields is an audience line that reads "teenagers", set next to a streetwear style tag, a lettering graphic and a loose fit. We are not teenagers, so the two shirts we handled went onto adult torsos: a 178 cm tester at 74 kg and a 165 cm tester at 61 kg. On the taller tester the loose body read as intended; on the shorter one it read as borrowed clothing. That is not a fault in the shirt, but it is why the audience line is worth noticing before you buy.
Where the numbers disagree
The listing itself publishes no shoulder measurement. It gives S–XXL and a stated 1–3 cm measuring tolerance, and pushes you toward the brand's own chart. That chart is not a safe reference point, because publicly circulating Rhude tee charts contradict each other — one lists a 58 cm shoulder at M, another lists 51 cm at M. A seven-centimetre spread between two published charts is larger than the gap between two sizes.
| Spec line | What the listing states | What our handling found |
|---|---|---|
| Main fabric | Combed cotton | Dry, dense hand; no pilling on the apricot body after two washes |
| Fabric weight | 180–250 g band | Sits inside that band; heavier than a basic cotton tee, lighter than the "heavyweight" talk in buyer threads |
| Fit | Loose streetwear body, 1–3 cm tolerance | Boxy through the chest with a slightly long back; body length landed near the top of the stated tolerance band |
| Sleeve | Regular sleeve type, mid-sleeve named in the spec fields | Finished just above the elbow on our 178 cm tester |
| Shoulder | Not published on the listing | The deciding number. Freeze the shoulder width against a shirt you already own before choosing a size |
Print work on pale bodies
The apricot and white bodies are the honest test of print quality, because a pale ground hides nothing at the edge of a graphic. Both shirts came through with clean boundaries between colour blocks, no halo bleeding into the cotton, and lettering that stayed legible at arm's length. The listing calls the technique print/dye, which is consistent with the flat, slightly matte surface we saw rather than a raised plastisol layer.
"Super heavy and great for any season imo. Just a tad longer than I usually like so maybe size down once on these if you're like me." — buyer in a Rhude haul review on r/FashionReps
That buyer's note on length lines up with our own 178 cm tester, who found the hem sitting lower than he expected for a summer tee. It does not line up with the retailer copy on other Rhude tees, which repeatedly describes the cut as boxy but true to size and mid-weight rather than heavy. Both descriptions can be honest; neither one tells you what this specific listing will do on your body.
Sizing: read the hem, not the tag
The size reports we found split three ways. Two buyers advise sizing down because Rhude tees run long. One reports that a normal medium wearer needed an XL, and adds that the smaller sizes felt tight around the bottom hem despite the boxy overall cut. Our own two shirts, both mediums, behaved like that middle case: easy through the chest, snugger than expected where the hem meets the hip.
- Lay a tee you like flat and measure shoulder seam to shoulder seam, then pit to pit.
- Treat that shoulder figure as the deciding number, not the chest.
- Allow for the listing's stated 1–3 cm tolerance before you decide between two sizes.
What we would flag
The shipping weight field on this listing is blank, so freight has to be estimated rather than calculated, and a two-shirt order will not behave the same as a single parcel in any consolidation plan. The price, fabric and print execution are strong at $8.36. The open question is fit, and the listing does not close it for you. If you want a standard true-to-size body or a trim fit, this is the wrong purchase; if you want a loose mid-sleeve summer tee and will do thirty seconds of measuring first, it is a sensible one.
How we tested
We ordered two medium tees, a black body and an apricot one, logged the warehouse photos, then measured shoulder, pit to pit and back length flat. One shirt went through two washes. Both testers compared the measurements against a tee they already own.

Frequently asked
Is the $8.36 price for the whole collection or one tee?
One tee. The $8.36 price applies to a single shirt in the size and colour code you choose, sold at $9.20 before the discount. The collection wording refers to the range of roughly 42 print codes on one listing.
Should I size down on this tee?
Reports conflict. Two buyers advise sizing down because the body runs long; one medium wearer needed an XL and found smaller sizes tight at the hem. Measure the shoulder width of a tee you own and allow the listing's stated 1–3 cm tolerance before deciding.
How heavy is the fabric?
The listing states a 180–250 g band and names combed cotton as the main fabric. Our shirts sat inside that band: heavier than a basic cotton tee, lighter than the heavyweight impression Rhude tees often get in buyer threads.
